Melocactus macracanthos adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Aruba hingga Belanda Antilles. Nama ilmiah Melocactus macracanthos pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph zu Salm-Reifferscheidt-Dyck pada tahun 1827.
