Melodinus australis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Apocynaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Papua hingga Vanuatu dan New South Wales timur laut. Nama ilmiah Melodinus australis diperkenalkan oleh Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1898.
