Memecylon buxoides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kenya timur. Nama ilmiah Memecylon buxoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gerald Ernest Wickens pada tahun 1974.
