Memecylon edule adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari India hingga Malaya, Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Memecylon edule diperkenalkan oleh William Roxburgh pada tahun 1798.
