Memecylon edule adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari India, Malaya, hingga Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Memecylon edule pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Roxburgh pada tahun 1798.
