Menodora mexicana merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Oleaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Menodora mexicana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1852.
