Mentzelia collomiae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Loasaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup dua musim (biennial). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Arizona (Coconino County). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sunset crater blazingstar. Nama ilmiah Mentzelia collomiae mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1997.
