Mentzelia thompsonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Loasaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah hingga Colorado dan New Mexico. Nama ilmiah Mentzelia thompsonii pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1976.
