Meriania speciosa (Bonpl.) Naudin

Meriania speciosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Venezuela barat laut dan Peru utara. Nama ilmiah Meriania speciosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Aimé Bonpland pada tahun 1852.
