Merostachys magellanica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo). Nama ilmiah Merostachys magellanica mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1995.
