Mertensia simplicissima adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Mertensia simplicissima pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich von Ledebour pada tahun 1837.
