Mespilodaphne paradoxa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kosta Rika. Nama ilmiah Mespilodaphne paradoxa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 2020.
