Metalasia helmei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape barat. Nama ilmiah Metalasia helmei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Ola Karis pada tahun 2008.
