Metrosideros polymorpha var. macrophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Myrtaceae (suku jambu-jambuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Hawaii). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan 'ohi'a lehua. Nama ilmiah Metrosideros polymorpha var. macrophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Rock pada tahun 1979.
