Miconia superba merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Venezuela (Bolívar) hingga Guyana (Gn. Roraima). Nama ilmiah Miconia superba diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernst Heinrich Georg Ule pada tahun 1915.
