Miconia thomasiana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Puerto Rico hingga Kepulauan Virgin (St. Thomas). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan camasey tomaso. Nama ilmiah Miconia thomasiana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1828.
