Miconia trinervia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Miconia trinervia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1830.
