Microcarpaea minima merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Phrymaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis. Nama ilmiah Microcarpaea minima pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anders Johan Retzius pada tahun 1912.
