Microchilus schlechterianus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (São Paulo hingga Paraná). Nama ilmiah Microchilus schlechterianus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederico Carlos Hoehne pada tahun 2021.
