Microcos barombiensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Microcos barombiensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 2004.
