Microcos coriacea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nigeria hingga Angola timur laut. Nama ilmiah Microcos coriacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Maxwell Tylden Masters pada tahun 1926.
