Microcycas calocoma merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Zamiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba barat. Nama ilmiah Microcycas calocoma diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1868.
