Microgramma heterophylla merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Florida hingga Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan clinging snakefern. Nama ilmiah Microgramma heterophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Edgar Theodore Wherry pada tahun 1964.
