Microlepia calvescens merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Dennstaedtiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Assam, Taiwan, Indo-China, hingga Jawa. Nama ilmiah Microlepia calvescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1851.
