Microlepia setosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Dennstaedtiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Assam hingga China (Guangxi dan Guangdong). Nama ilmiah Microlepia setosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis James Edward Smith pada tahun 1933.
