Micropholis emarginata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Sapotaceae (suku sawo-sawoan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia). Nama ilmiah Micropholis emarginata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Terence Dale Pennington pada tahun 1990.
