Micropsis ostenii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Argentina (Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos), hingga Uruguay. Nama ilmiah Micropsis ostenii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gustave Beauverd pada tahun 1913.
