Micropus amphibolus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mt. diablo cottonseed. Nama ilmiah Micropus amphibolus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1882.
