Microsorum egregium merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Maluku (Pulau Halmahera, Pulau Bacan), Papua New Guinea. Nama ilmiah Microsorum egregium pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Guido Georg Wilhelm Brause pada tahun 1991.
