Microsorum steerei merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China (Guangxi, Guizhou), Vietnam, hingga Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Microsorum steerei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ren-Chang Ching pada tahun 1933.
