Microstachys chamaelea

Microstachys chamaelea (L.) Müll.Arg.

Microstachys chamaelea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan) yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat, Chad selatan, wilayah Asia tropis, subtropis, hingga Kepulauan Solomon. Nama ilmiah Microstachys chamaelea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1863.
