Microstachys glandulosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Microstachys glandulosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1836.
