Microstachys stipulacea merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Uruguay. Nama ilmiah Microstachys stipulacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 2011.
