Microtea celosioides merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Microteaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil tengah dan timur hingga Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Microtea celosioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 2019.
