Microtropis argentea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan (Sarawak). Nama ilmiah Microtropis argentea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Kizhakkedathu Mathai Kochummen pada tahun 1994.
