Microtropis bivalvis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Myanmar selatan hingga Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Microtropis bivalvis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jack pada tahun 1831.
