Microtropis osmanthoides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China (Guizhou, Guangxi), hingga Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Microtropis osmanthoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Raphael Eduard Handel-Mazzetti pada tahun 1933.
