Microtropis triflora merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China bagian selatan-tengah hingga Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Microtropis triflora pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 1940.
