Microtropis zeylanica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Microtropis zeylanica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 1940.
