Mikania phaeoclados merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil (Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo). Nama ilmiah Mikania phaeoclados pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1876.
