Millettia barteri merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat hingga Sudan Selatan dan Angola. Nama ilmiah Millettia barteri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1911.
