Millettia caudata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Millettia caudata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1876.
