Millettia comosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Millettia comosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Marc Micheli pada tahun 1954.
