Millettia extensa merupakan tumbuhan berkayu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki pola hidup memanjat dengan akar tetap di tanah (liana). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari anak benua India hingga Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Millettia extensa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1876.
