Millettia fulgens merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Gabon hingga Angola. Nama ilmiah Millettia fulgens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Stephen Troyte Dunn pada tahun 1911.
