Millettia pulchra var. tomentosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil (Goiás hingga Mato Grosso dan Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Millettia pulchra var. tomentosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis David Prain pada tahun 1897.
