Mimosa leprosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tenggara. Nama ilmiah Mimosa leprosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama August Gustav Heinrich von Bongard pada tahun 1919.
