Monanthotaxis capea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Annonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Pantai Gading tenggara, kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Monanthotaxis capea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edmond Gustave Camus pada tahun 1971.
