Monolopia major adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cupped monolopia. Nama ilmiah Monolopia major pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1838.
