Monoon bemban merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Annonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Monoon bemban diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1865.
