Monoptilon bellioides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Amerika Serikat barat daya hingga Meksiko barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mojave desertstar. Nama ilmiah Monoptilon bellioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Harvey Monroe Hall pada tahun 1907.
